good tut. Complementary colors are important in doing BW conversions (or shooting onto BW film too) - using a filter of the color of interest will lighten itself and darken the complementary color. A yellow filter is used to pull down skys to be darker, as normally they record very densely on bw film which results in them being too light... similar but more intense with orange and red. The last 2 affect other complementary colors too toward the green end... but same general idea . When you see BW shots made in daylight that have really dark skies, they probably used an orange or red filter to shoot through. Tools like Nik Silver Effects pro let you choose such a filter and you can see what happens with them at almost infinite levels of intensity - something you didn't get to do shooting film, "back in the day"...

Excellent. I struggle with colour grading so tend to use HSL sparingly. There is a LOT to consider so anything, like this, that can help is much appreciated.

I can't find those specific colors HSL options in my Premiere Pro CC 2015.Is there some tip, or external plugin e can download to do exactly what is done on the video? Thanks!
