A little. Downside is HEAPS of noise. But we’ll apply it in the next part.

I came here for the tutorials and stuck for the poliigon advert!... and for the really good tutorials, to be honest... But I like the adverts and don´t know why :D

My mesh became heavily distorted from the cloth brushes, so when I applied the texture, it was warped and not straight like in the tutorial. In order to fix this, I just unwrapped all the finished meshes rather than staying with the grid.

yea same. Mine wasn't "heavily" distorted but things here and there were just not sitting right, and re unwrapping helped

If you're getting an error when you try to enable the Poliigon addon, make sure you enable the "node wrangler" addon first (this is default in Blender). Then enable the Polligon addon and it should work!

9:08 How do I apply the Make Links Material? I've tried left and right clicking, pressing enter, but nothing seems to work. My other cushions don't get the material. Edit: Just figured it out. You need to click first all the other objects and at the very end the one that alredy has the material. Then Ctrl L and it works

if you want to image a fabric, use a sample rag and a flatbed scanner. you'll have a much better result compared to using a camera. all i'm saying it is worth a try

Hey! I'm a textile design student and find your upholstery generator very interesting. I wanted to ask if I have to have a continuous subscription to poliigon to use the file or is it a one time download? ps: new to blender. Thanks to your tutorials, quarantine is productive!

It’s a one time download, and works independently to blender :)
