I've been in sections of the wood ls so dark I couldn't see my hands in front of my face. It's a real different feeling and I love it.

I think using fear is very fun to give to your players, people get to play with fear and you don't have to try to scare anyone. What if people fear the players if you had a party of demons in a land where they are feared. It's incredibly fun to do because people have inbuilt and rational fears. My games have demons who are disfigured... because they refuse to do evil. Guards and well-mannered folk shun very powerful kind demons and you get to use fears both past and present to give yourself to wield as power and... oh... oh that is just what we are doing. This can get very abstract, I just have a person who as he put it "Fears normality" so as a typical business worker he could spawn fake emails that would scam people with blackmail, their fear was a normal job so they could cause normal day to day tragedy. A highly conservative business suddenly has posts from the CEO visiting gay furry polyamorous dating sites or somehow the contract that says your product is arranged to pay people from some remote village a mere ten cents an hour to cut cost is now posted to the site community page that is open to the public. Reasons to fear a normal job.
