Dear Sir, please eliminatwe the strong echoes degrading understanding. Otherwise, in my humble opinion, hooks do work! But, need sidestepping, when facing a frontal dual block. By sidestepping we get off the line of fire. However, when using Hakka techniques to desintegrate the dual block or clinch, what I can see, you stay still in the line of fire! So why not use Hakka grabbing trechniques while moving to the sides, around the opponent hidden behind a double shield? Best regards, Paul.69, retired instructor of Karate
