Haha. You don't stink! What you make is incredible! Actually journaling isn't for everyone. It also doesn't have to be daily. It can just be when you have time.

I found it fascinating to see your process with harvesting magazines. I don't rip out the pages unless its a full page I want. I cut into the page, roughly around the piece I want so that the rest of it stays intact. I go through magazines countless times, so I find it easier to not have a bunch of loose pages. I harvest a great deal of the words and images out of every magazine I can lay my hands on. The better quality magazines are definitely my favourite, too. So much material to use.

Yeah. That makes sense to keep the page intact. I should do that but it’s just easy to tear them out and I’m lazy. Haha.

I'm so glad you kept some of that floral carpet. I cut out lots of magazine images for glue books. I make journals but am terrible at using them.

I'm glad I kept the floral carpet too! It took me almost a year of making journals to start using them. Once I did I haven't looked back. I still find I can't use journals that are heavily embellished before hand. They have to be somewhat "naked" so I can fill each page with random things that I like on the day.
