The Unger Ergotec is a good solid place to start.😃👍🏼

Can you take the flick pad off too if you want?
@aemackintosh2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the pad is totally detachable and you can use the squeegee without it.👍🏼

How much pressure are you putting on it. I just bought the 14inch and it is leaving streaks in the middle of the squeegee.
@aemackintosh5 жыл бұрын
Jeff Kroeker There is a bit of flex in the plastic tips so yeah, it needs a bit of pressure. I find the angle you hold it on the glass is quite crucial as well, so maybe experiment a bit lifting your wrist away from the glass. I made a video about how to grip the handle, that might help, link in description.😃👍🏼

I have the moermon excelerator fliq such a awesome tool too use I use mine everyday by hand . Saves such much time in detailing . Quick question though What pole you using is it the moermon pole. I think I need to start doing pole work but some people say the moermon pole is too flexy and sometimes difficult to undo the locking cones.

jj realtalk I’m using an Unger pole, it is a blue version not often seen but they sell it at my local Screfix. I like anything I can find in blue as it fits in with my business logo.😃👍🏼

Another good video. What angle did you have your handle set at 3 minutes into video and did you have an adapter at the end of pole too, if so what angle was that on.
@aemackintosh7 жыл бұрын
Keith G Set at 10degrees. No adapter, just straight on to Unger locking cone pole.💦😃👍🏼

4:07 - I notice you have some water/suds at the bottom of the pane on that window. I'm curious if most guys just leave that as is? E.g. Am I being too fussy to be worrying about a little suds at the bottom when I'm cleaning windows? P.s. This is not a criticism at all. I just feel that I, myself, might be a little too fussy/particular in what I expect as an end result ;-)
@aemackintosh4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I definitely wipe the soap at the bottom. I haven’t shown it in the video but I could actually reach the bottom to do it by hand.😃👍🏼

What is your favourite squeegee? I'm using the liquidator but want to try something new
@aemackintosh6 жыл бұрын
Matt Hames The legend is a wide body version similar to the liquidator, works well with a ninja handle. My favourites are still the Unger squeegees😃💦👍🏼
@matthames65966 жыл бұрын
A.E.Mackintosh Cleaning Services nice one, I was looking at the legend but saw some bad reviews. Keep hearing about the sorbo but was looking at the ninja or super channel
@aemackintosh6 жыл бұрын
Sorbo and ninja are quite similar. Some don’t like the big end clips on the ninja, but the Sorbo uses little metal clips which can be fiddly and occasionally come loose. I still love the little ergo tec handle with the s-plus channel. Ettore super channel is also good. Just depends if you want something more heavy duty or small and nimble.😃👍🏼

Just a quick comment :) I use Unger channels on a daily basis, and from what i can see, you havent "bended" the channel edges, and thats why you still have to detail after you've cleaned the window. Check out the Unger S-Channel Plus to see what i meen. If you bend the channel, you have zero detailing ;) Just a tip :). Ps. Not sure what to call it in english, but i hope you get what i mean ;) Other than that, great video :)
