It helps a lot, Thank You for sharing! are you sharing the screen of your ipad to your computer then you work from there. Second your voice is very clear could tell me the microphone you are using or you are using your computer or ipad though mine had noises. I tried to work on mac computer and ipad 10th generation...hope you got my idea as i have a problem with the sound of my apple pencil and background noises. Thaks again

I share my iPad screen with my computer, which is them projected onto my whiteboard through my projector. I don't use a mic when recording, I just use my phone or iPad. There is some background noise with my Logitech Crayon, but my students never complained about it being distracting.

Hi, I am teaching the IM curriculum for 6th grade. I want to use my iPad because I like annotating while teaching. I am having a hard time connecting my iPad to my school laptop so I won't be tided to my projector. Do you have any suggestions?

I would like to teach math while walking around the room. What size screen do you think I would need? Is the larger screen better to annotate math work? Also how much memory do you think I would want? Most of work lives in google drive.

I had the "normal" iPad, and didn't really ever feel the need for a bigger screen. It was a school iPad (and I no longer teach at the school), so I am not sure how much memory there was, but I know there wasn't a ton. I would annotate the PDF, upload it to my Google Drive, and then delete it from my iPad after teaching that lesson to all of my classes. This definitely helped keep the memory free.

Do you make use of screen recording ma’am to capture the video while solving problems?

I do not screen record while teaching. If I want to make a video for my students, I use the app ExplainEverything (it may also be called ExplainEDU).

Dear Kate, Please upload more frequently. I am a teacher in India, and it was very helpful for me. Please upload more about different "free" apps in app store for recording screen and basic editing

Thank you! I hope to eventually upload more than one video a week. I am on summer break right now, so I do not have quite as much to post as I will when I go back in August. Thank you for the suggestion about more iPad apps. I do plan on doing another tech video in the future.

I use the app PDF Viewer on my iPad to annotate notes for students. The software I use to project my iPad is called AirServer. This was bought by my district, so I don't have any information about it.
