It's about time the Volvo showed back up. And this time, it's pulling it's own weight!
Today, I have the pleasure of using the Volvo's massive storage area to transport tires for the foster Corvette C5 Z06. The best part of it all? I got to hang out with ‪@TylerPotter‬ for the installation!

Hey Mr Motary Notary, it's always great to see the Volvo, especially in action hauling stuff!!! Back in the seventies we used a Coats 20 20 tire machine with a bubble balancer. Wow that new Hunter machine is fantastic!!! I'd love to see you showcase prewar cars!!! Anything from the twenties & thirties!!! Thanks for sharing another exciting video!!! 👍👍🙂

You know Elliott, you should really get an Alvis. Dunno if you already knew this, but from the 1910's to the 1960's there was this British company called Alvis which produced really sweet roadsters and GTs. Would be really fun to see an Alvis working on an Alvis!

Wow! Indiana is as awesome as Kansas! The rear wheel drive Volvos had much better turning radius’s because those front tires had nothing to do but turn or stop the car with no silly driveshafts connected to them. I love all of those cars that were made in Auburn Indiana! I think that there were too many to count. I’ve never seen a V16 Cadillac! Those were the days when a Cadillac wasn’t a victim of badge engineering and cost cutting. I’d love to see that Cadillac!

I have picked up an old Magnesium Halibrand and a couple of more modern aluminum racing rims. Your right, they are freakishly light. Don't know how good the Mags are, but those aluminum ones, a pebble in the road would probably dent them!

I would love to see a drive/overview of an Avanti - whether it's a Studebaker or later Avanti II model. They were made in Indiana for most of the model run, and you're very likely to see several of them there. Love the channel!

P2s with larger rims are the ones that suck to turn, the ones with 16s are really easy to make turns in (I own a non-R p2 car)

How did tires get balanced back in the day? Bubble balancer. Looks like a metal traffic cone with circular plate and a fluid bubble on the top. You place the lead weights on the edge until the bubble is in the center. Simple. Not really.

You bought the wrong Volvo. The 3.0 T6 engine is the one to have. 280-330hp, high 20s MPG in an S80, no common faults, and most parts are stamped with FoMoCo, making them inexpensive.
