We got a set of Vevor Mophorn 30" Clamp on Bucket forks for our Kubota BX and they are awesome. Our method for attaching them...not so much.

This is off topic from this video but I wanna thank you for posting that tsb on the loader fittings coupler and the back quick coupler because mine leaked since new it has taken me 2 yrs and several trips to the shop to get them knuckle heads to acknowledge this leaking problems since I showed them the tsb and now they ordered the parts to get it fixed. The past 3 times I had it in they said there was no problem found ugg now its gonna get fixed hopefully lol.

Lucas, i was going to recommend the quick attach forks, but i saw you have a pin on bucket. These clamp on forks will limit your lift capacity. Be careful using them. Good video buddy.

Yeah, unfortunately they are my best option for now. I think we will still find them pretty handy. 👍👊

I'd say those RR Ties are more like in the 300lb. weight range! I did a planter with them years ago and it was cheap but a chore to move them. Some are full of more creasote than others pushing some over 300 lbs easy. If your planning on drilling a hole in them for a spike to hold them in place get ready for some torcher. I went through countless auger bits trying to get through them. They are stubborn and seem to squeeze tighter the more you drill! You were smart not cutting them, I went through several skill saw blades and several chains on the chainsaw. I'm finally figuring the only way to keep from bending the bucket is going to be chain wrapped all the way around with ratchet binders to keep the bottom bucket edge healthy. I'm also impressed you got the paint to even stick to those, that creosote is nasty! I got mine off the old 1880's Virginia and Truckee RR pulled up in 1952 and they were aged like petrified wood! That was fun watching!

Yeah, drilling and staking them wasn’t easy. The paint was just rustoleum oil based and it took a couple coats, but they turned out pretty good.

For some reason, I actually enjoyed watching your very. I'm now thinking about buying some forks for my kubota L3301 tractor. Anymore tips that you can share?

If you have a quick attach bucket, I’m sure a proper set of forks would be better, but I have found these very handy. Just be careful and don’t overload them. I’ve heard you can bend a bucket with them.

What's the reason for using these ties vs just painting in the drive though lane?

We wanted to create parking spaces on the outside of the lane, but we didn’t want anyone pulling too far forward and blocking the lane. 👍

Lucas: Could you have used the back hoe with the thumb, to lift the tyes? Yes I also heard the comment about you getting the mini excavator. It should be a kubota one for sure. Take care and stay safe. PS: nothing like playing with the paint. Finger painting in Kinder garden class. 😀

What do you need to do is build yourself some corners and put on your bucket and then put the registry apps over the corners or you could buy plastic corners at tractor supply probably they’re normally for four or 6 inch straps but they will work on 2 inch also and they’re not expensive watch the ground when you’re traveling in your area trucks lose them all the time they usually clear or orange in color tractor safe

Why didn’t you leave the ties on the forks while you painted them? If you were worried about the weight you could of left the forks resting on the dumpster.

Well, I had planned to leave them on the forks, but I was also doing some other stuff while the paint dried. I really thought it would be easier than it was to place them and pick them up.

Not sure why you are using straps to hold on the forks when the clamps do just fine. Had my set of pallet forks since first of the year, and loaded and unloaded pallets (one with my new 4 foot tiller) as well as logs and brush. As far as the clamps, I got a short piece of Super Strut, which I keep with the forks, and use as an extension of the clamp arms, they put another turn or so on the clamps, cinches them down and they do not move. The keyed holes both on the upright and under the forks are used for strapping the load on the forks, and came in real handy at keeping a huge pile of brush in place to transport. Finished them off with a couple of 2 ish by 3 ish studs to slip into (and remove where not needed) the uprights for a backstop. Love them!!!

@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead I just have 2 acres, and just a 50 X 20 foot plot (so far), but the tiller (Titan) works like a champ. Turned the soil every few weeks to slow down any native grass growth and work in a a couple of yards of compost/sand each time. Much better than a walk behind. 🙂
