G6: Based G14: the child of a K4 with an G6 G14/AS: G10 with an G6 engine paired with an DB603 Supercharger G10: K4 if it was a brick K4: The 109 you will not fly because the TA152 H exists.

G10 is actually less bricky than the K4. K4 sustained turn is slightly better at low alt due to increased power but honestly K4 feels a bit stiffer, watch Adam the Enginerds video on high tier 109s. Also, the G10 gets a high alt supercharger too I believe, all I know is that the G10 is better than the K4 at high alt.

@@blacktiger974 Lots of people claiming all the 109s are "overpowered" or "too strong" so basically, copium huffers or people who suck off Germany for having the best stuff. Defyn does great to break down these planes to show what these can really do in a realistic setting with the performance taken into mind and the tactics. Pretty much what a fair bit of people come here for, to learn how to 109 or to learn how to beat up the 109.

5:35 hey just quick tip about bf109s in general. If you are in turn fight try to yoyo with altitude while keeping the turn. What I mean climb in turn and go down to gain speed up to 400+ and then go up again while keeping that turn. Bf109 turns much better at 400 ias but keeps generally similar worse turn at lower speeds 😄

You should try out the BF 109 G14/AS. Sure it's basically a high-alt ver of the regular G14 but it'll be interesting on how you would use it

The matches you get in the G14 are the ones I mostly get with the F4. I stopped playing the F4 because the matchmaking was ridiculous and the guns seem to be firing blanks most days. I think I'll check out the G14 and see how that works out for me. It'll be nice to have a 109 I'll enjoy flying again that isn't the E3.

Virtually every good player does. The G-2 is a slightly worse F-4. The G-6 is the best 109 in terms of performance relative to BR for all Gs and the K. Everything following the G-6 is only slightly better speed and climb wise while worse turn wise.

@@rainsilent well, I did a turn test with both them starting at 350kph at the deck using my cellphone timer to see who could complete at 360° at the shortest time, I did several test because I had to manually start the timer at the beginning of the turn but all of the tests showed that the K-4 completed the turn a few 0.1 seconds earlier, so unless I did something wrong the K-4 turns slightly sharper than the G-6.

Actually, it's 5.3. Not that that's a reason to take it instead, the K is a much better plane and there's only a slightly higher chance you'll see a P-51 and a tiny chance you'll see a Mk 24.

The LF-Mk IX has always been the hardest spitfire to fight If you are above them just BnZ, but they will usually outclimb you. You have to force them to dive and compress, then they bleed their speed and you can attempt to energy trap them again. You have to be quick and precice with your shots, as they regain energy very fast.
