The people hating on the Narrator needs to stop. I would LOVE to here you guys do it. I thought he was amazing

Our band is preparing for this piece to be played on July 3rd, I actually got the link to this video by email as a reference for rehearsal, and I can say now that this narrator does an amazing job. The timing of the narration is pretty difficult to pull off and these quotes do need to be delivered in a way befitting the original. There is literally one person in all of American history that could have done it better, the man himself, Former President Abraham Lincoln.

Needs a longer pause between the "we, even we here" line. It's a very common mistake made by many narrators of this piece. Actor James Whitmore left out the first "we" altogether!

The narration is timed with the music, any further pause would throw it off. I agree, but that should have been written into the timing on both sides.
