I've gotten mail dropped off in those tubs, I've got a four foot stack of them. I tried to give them to the mailman but he doesn't take them. I finally dropped them off to the local USPS distribution center when i was there picking up a large order.

People complain about postal prices going up, this is one of the reasons. They have to keep replacing equipment that disappears. Each piece of equipment is labeled with the USPS name. Please return to them so they can reuse it.

just so everyone knows , since hes a high level shipper , his local usps gives these to him to use , you can technically argue hes using them incorrectly , but to most part he has permission . i know i did ebay years back and had some . also once they give these to there perffered customers , they order more , reminds me of the milk crates

It should be obvious of the large volume of packages sent and amounts spent. The totes are are for the preparation, sorting/processing, and transportation of items. For those sticklers who complained. Those were for eBay/online sales items with the intention to be shipped. Meets the usage guidelines. Far more even than pre-packing items in the priority mail boxes before sale (not reusable and fewer items) or heaven forbid some priority mail boxes get used in a way not as intended 😂. Too bad they don’t still give us tape, that never got used except one piece per open seam 🤣. All the items are factored into the shipping costs and eBay sellers make up 15% of their volume. The amount they make off him in one week probably would pay for all those totes. Maybe only a day if you look at life cycle costs, those have already been well used

I actually got a complaint from an ebay buyer because I packed a shipment with bubble wrap which partially included some old used flat rate bubble bags from USPS. Ok, great.....you'd rather have me throw them in the trash, filling up the landfill than reusing them. What an A--hole. I guess some people can't manage to get through life without complaining about something so petty.
