Cannot agree more with what Nasser bhai wrote. There is no word to describe his playing. I feel joy, tears and profound peace anytime I hear him. He was a regular player in All India Radio, Calcutta. I pray those invaluable tapes have been preserved and released someday. I clearly remember his Bilaskhani Todi many moons ago. It was ethereal, pensive and yet optimistic positive about the new day beginning. I cried glorious tears all through it. We never truly appreciated him and the world did not give him his due recognition as he was not a politician. There is a lot of dirt in the music world. Rest in peace Ustadji. You are nonpareil.

Sarod yane Maihar Seniya Gharana, Is gharane ke nayab na gi no me se ek Ustad Bahadur Khan sahab hai, Jiska sarod sun kar atma tripta ho jati hai. Khas kar rag Darbari la to koi jabba nahi. Itna dard me bhi hame sak oon de ja ta hai. Ek anmol ratna hai Bahadur Khan Sahab. Dil se sadar naaman.
