Love this style, complete play by play, as always, keep it up. Good to see a pro Terran player actually realize the madness that is ZvZ... Game 1, If you pull like... 8 drones with your lings you can save the hatch with decent micro.

Also game 1 it was a pretty big mistake to make that many lings . As a zerg you should NEVER play mass ling if your going delay speed that much. Its even worse in a zvz when a single baneling can end the game and you have slow lings

18:09 an easy terran counter especially with 700 minerals, get some speed banshee there and start doing hit n run on the roaches, get out a raven and detect them all, hit you with a raven bomb to ruin your armor :) at least use 400 mineral to make another orbital which could be for scans or a mule..

Please do a series for this. I love this type of play. I would love to see someone that could use burrow for vision initially into setting up counter attacks for an opponents push, saving one burrowed unit into nydus for final attack.

the final one, even if you burrow lings they also slowly regenerate, and the burrowed roaches also could learn tunnel claws moving which lets them move while underground :D

Ayo uThermal, with the Roach cheese you did, maybe you should've considered Tunneling Claws. It increases burrowed Roach regen AND you can just scoot while burrowed, just like Infestors. You can maul that cheeky Tank and there wouldn't be anything they could do about it.

in order to bait out all those scans, the terran had to have a good idea of where they had buried and where they could be found. Not having any energy left for MULEs doomed him. Winning the eco battle as early as possible is the beating heart of cheese. The toss opponent, however, didn't have a full wall, and would have lost even more probes to wounded roaches tunnel burrowing out and chilling in the mineral lines... Coulda been an upgrade from pause rage quitting salt to hostile chat bm salt. I hear they mine it straight out of the mountains.

Grandmaster is the highest rank on the ladder. Cheese or mech drop are strategies. So he uses one strategy(for example mech drops) in a serie of games to climb the ladder all the way to grandmaster rank.

i used to enjoy using roaches to break terran and protoss sometimes, and they are good for beefing against lings if the person is zerg.. i dont use them so much vs the ai but i use them versus the humans if i care to do the ladder..

I'm still waiting for an explanation of how to hold a proxy hatch as terran properly. I've tried everything, including the option with the two bunkers, and somehow zerg is always coming out of it ahead.

a quick tank shuts down all aggression and once you have stim/combat shield you can easily take map control raven and/or a couple of banshees are also an excellent option dont waste scans on creep tumors at the natural, drop the cc at the third and set the tanks up on the cliff, every scan is 200+ minerals, drop a mule and build turrets and a raven to clear out tumors or counter burrow

@@sneediumminer my main problem is when to expand. If I go factory off of one base - I feel like I’m behind if the Zerg just takes 3 base quickly, my factory gives me zero aggressive potential. If I expand after the rax - I just die a lot of the time, or get locked out of the natural forever. Zerg gets to later game and overwhelms. I can’t figure out how to know what they are doing fast enough.

The second game: Terran should of had his units on patrol.. jsut so they are moving... makes bile harder... starport raven banshee would of made sense, he had lots of money...... if it was me.. I would of went 2-3 turrets main.. mineral line, ramp or off ramp... marine were okay.. I don't think I would of went tanks... after burrow. An old cheese, is burrow a roach in the mineral line, and then unburrow when full and hten burrow and the tank damage .. is annoying as hell.... to the scvs, IE free scv kills... typially its like siege, tank hits and you shoot one nad get a scv... then burrow... He didn't do a few things... banshees was he is best choice... 4 of them.. 2 for defence... and 2, for offence... annoyance ot put / push the zergy back.. Then as and liek terran then I woudl transition into tanks... Banshees are good choice, because you can trasnition into two bc's if you want and realyl punish a ravager build.. and bc's are great against most zerg units... You cna slap a few barracsk down and go mass marines... but typically when locked in teching up... and getting good trades adn establishing an economy as fast as possible... Marauders are okay.. but he really mis managed his base, lol Bunkers were a great idea... but he didn't use them well... and he foobard himself with a supply block.. Not hte end of the world.. Typically though if itsa mild push.. building a cc uptop in a defensive wall position is a good idea, and producing scvs, while producing marines... but meh not sure how he failed, lol to defend the roaches... it was like he was confused what to do and gave up...
