Not about this jacket, but I wanted to thank you for making the suit jacket tutorial and patterns, I (from Estonia) used both of them for my high school project, even tho I had never ever even held a needle before. Thanks to your tutorial, I was able to finish it and for a first sewing project, I gotta say it came out pretty good! Even when I did my presentation (while wearing it) no one could believe that I actually made that without any previous skills. But of course, I could have never pulled it off without you very detailed tutorial and he pattern, so thank you!

Nice jacquard fabric you used for that jacket. Sometimes thinking outside the box and using fabric that would otherwise be used for upholstery is heavy enough to make into a garment.

My son has asked me to make him one of these, he likes this pattern and the instructions on this video are clear so once I start I will be watching a few more times. Thinking of using boiled wool.

I'm new to all this and I don't like having straight pins all over the place. Will 3m double-sided tape work. Basically someone with the tape in between? Just curious I'm probably going to try it anyways.

What kind of fabric is that, is it brocade? Or jacquard? Or something else
@thedarthflagger Жыл бұрын
It's jacquard fabric. Looks like it's upholstery or curtain weight fabric perfect for reinterpreting it into a garment
