Liberal Senator Alex Antic says it has been revealed the government censored many social media posts about COVID-19 during the pandemic that turned out to be “actually true”.
“I find this utterly appalling and entirely alarming, particularly when you look at the spectre of this combatting misinformation and disinformation bill,” Mr Antic told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Australians need to wake up to this pretty quickly and we need the journalistic class as well to start reporting on this so that Aussies know what’s going on.”
