I watched this Chanel each time I felt low and feel like I will not make it, in what I want to become. At some point I probably watched one single video 40+ times before I go to a next one.

Okay, just seeing this, game companies are gonna need a lot of people to get the work done... Can't imagine how long it takes to make a production-ready household plant prop + script so it shatters into pieces when hit by something + assigning properties for weight + making sound foley for it + post-processing it for lumens etc...

I'm learning a lot as a newbie. I'm trying to find the right work flows so I'm not wasting my time on outdated techniques, or doing the wrong thing in the wrong software.

UV mapping is so fun IMO. It's actually the second thing I learned when I started 3d modeling a few years ago. It's always fun to put the UV islands like pieces of a puzzle lol 😄

huh, funny you say that. I am begginer in 3d and still can't wrap my head around it. Like I understand the theory what UV mapping is. But to put it into practise, that is a whole another discipline. For now I feel like I am randomly putting seams and hope for the best :D maybe I should have done more puzzles in the past :D I always found them boring haha.

I would love a best "technical" tutorials for blender video. Ones that cover the "boring" parts as they can be the most complicated. Uv unwrapping,rigging,retopology, optimization,baking textures. They all have almost no artistic need but are just as if not more important than modelling, animation, lighting and the more "exciting" parts of 3d. I myself still can't wrap my mind around UVs. Mostly where the heck do you put cuts?

Hi! i’m working in maya but i’m sure the theory of 3D terms and art is exactly the same. Did you ever find any videos about these things you’d personally recommend?

@ghostfantom534411 ай бұрын
To sum it up, UV mapping is stretching your model flat. The best example I can give you is to look at how to create a box in paper, it's exactly the same process but in 3D

@@ghostfantom5344 I kinda got t after watching like 10 diff vids. I'm cutting and opening it up. So it's flat or 2d. I'm still have troubling figuring out where to cut tho

hello I found your video very helpful. Question: I remeshed a pant in Starfield. But the colors got all messed up. So now i want to retexture the pant using starfield's own textures. I extracted the textures (.dds format) using BAE extractor, but when I load them into blender, they are all greyscale. Do i need to convert them using some other tool, then bring them into Blender?

to much explaining get to the point. This guy is like: "How to drink water" "Well first before we drink water we need to know why water is important." "When water was created etc..." Also lets note why refrigerators were created. Now we know why refrigerators were creating so lets walk to one, but before we walk to the refrigerator lets talk about why walking is important." Get to the Point man.

First, I don't see the word "Tutorial" or "How to" on the tittle. Second, there are tons of tutorials about UV mapping that you can find. This "guy" like you say, is giving valuable info about what UV mapping is, and the purpose and importance of it. If you don't like or understand it, go find another video... duh

Too many images flicking through. It needs to be more didactic and clear for absolute beginners.
