why would it take two years to figure out they did something drastically wrong; maybe do some reporting on why the higher up they are the longer they can be criminals and maybe try to fix that so this doesn't keep happening all over the place.

Ignorance and cowardice are not crimes. We should all be worried when prosecutors, bowing to public pressure, manipulate the law no matter how disgusted we may be by the officers' inaction.

It may surprise you to know that NO ONE is legally obligated to save a life - even police officers. Although we may find their actions abhorrent, they are not criminal acts. Now we'll go to the expense of a trial only to see acquittals. It's time to let this go and move on.
