Someone probably already told you,but if you hit the tare button on the scale it will zero out the weight of the styrofoam bowl and you get an exact measurement of you plate. I have the same scale!❤❤❤😊

Vickie, another well though out, well laid out and well executed video! Just love your style. AND Ha! had to laugh, you showed my sold listing on the Pfazltgraff Heritage bowls - the sold comp with $47.99 crossed out! Small eBay world I guess.! Good buy on those bowls. I find bowls are always sought after in almost any make/pattern. When I buy whole collections, the bowls sell out first. BTY, the Pfaltzgraff heritage cup and saucers are a SLOW and low dollar sell; so glad you didn't buy them. I ended up donating mine. Thanks to you and Mark for another great video!

Thank you Mary! This one was a challenge. No easy "tables" to use in videos...created each line entry individually and stacked them on top of each other. I think I gained a few more gray hairs making this one! So funny that your sale was one of the bowl comps!!! I really didn't want the cups anyway. Cups in general have been hard to sell. I would have bought the plates but you saw the condition issues on them. You're so welcome!

Wonderful Julie! As to shipping, if someone wants something enough, they'll pay the shipping. Do I think it's deterring buyers? Not really. I think there's much more going on that is making some people slow down on spending. Clothing sales picked up and I'm surprised because they can shop "anywhere" for clothing and not pay shipping. I wish I had a better answer for you....Thanks!

To be honest Dolores, we're not too affected by the USPS shipping changes. ALL of our Priority packages are set up as "calculated" shipping (buyer pays) and therefore they auto-update. For 1st class, I pretty much charge $6.95 (buyer pays) unless it goes in a very small box or padded envelope and even then $4.95 on average. Therefore, there's always a cushion collected. I'll try to take a look at it though. Hope sharing how we do it gives you some insight that pretty much covers the increases. Thanks!

I typically run a 10-15% sale for 3 weeks, sometimes all categories but most times select categories. I will send or take offers on top of this. I also run a monthly coupon for followers and include this coupon in orders, but it’s been hit n miss lately!

Well, thank you Lisa! Mark reached his goal months ago. I'm still trying to get a few more pounds off. Sorry to hear about ebay but I do truly understand. Sales are what is working for us. 30 to 35% Off. People want a bargain. It's a buyer's market right now unless we have something really unique, special or in demand.

Thank you for pointing that out to me Janett! I'll look into it. For me, private listing gives "privacy" to the $offers and $sales. If you look at someone's feedback before purchasing and you see that nearly all of their sales sold at a discounted price (line drawn thru), you are no doubt going to expect to get your purchase at a discounted or lower price. If perspective buyers can't see what it sold for, nor the item (they just happen to go hand in hand when using private listing), all they see is the "feedback." And, isn't the feedback the most important thing when making the decision to buy? At least, that's my take on using private listing. Been doing it for years now and it's never been an issue or concern as far as I know. Feedback tells the story as to what type of seller we are, how we package and the overall customer service we provide. Hope this helps and thanks for asking!

Rarely, I’ve ever been asked about my phone/camera. And the camera does help me see. I have cataracts. If anyone were ever to ask me to stop looking through my camera, I most certainly would. I honestly think a GoPro is just as obvious, if not more.

Thank you Becky! No, packing materials are part of the expense and process. I often add an extra 1# to Priority shipping to help cover my materials (and packing time) and I nearly always have extra from my 1st class shipping that I consider as "applied" to shipping materials. I do whatever it takes to ensure safe arrival but no, I don't feel it cuts into my profits much because I buy supplies in volume too. Hope that helps!

Another great video! I like the inclusion of the comp photos in the shopping sections. I had a question, when estimating shipping weight sometimes you add 2 pounds for packing materials and sometimes you add only one pound. How do you deside what to add? I know the cups will take more time and care in packing then the plates. I consider the variables and packing materials when choosing between 1 pound or 2 as my add on to the actual weight (rounded up weight). Hope that helps and thanks Pat!

Just curious about the tshirt that you listed as men's but is a boys. I probably would have messaged the buyer to avoid the INAD. Just wondering why you decided to ship it knowing there was a mistake in your title. I know you have measurements but if you listed in the wrong category would that protect you from a return and bad feedback.

It’s not 100% a mistake. I didn’t say it was absolutely a boys. It looked small in the package so it did cross my mind that it looked small for a men’s. I put the measurements in the listing, and when I did my research, obviously I identified as a Men’s. Men can be small built too. I think you’re jumping ahead on this one.
