To be honest the ending to this movie doesn't really do the source material justice. In the book the outlook is way more bleak than in the film. Not that the film is bad by any measure, it's actually one of my favourite comic book adaptations. But it prefers to place itself in the comfortable "Happily ever after" box rather then deal with the uncomfortable consequences that toppling a government would DEFINITELY have in real life.

I found this movie and the story one of the best ever done, it's not only about a "super-hero who got bitten by a bug and became a super hero", he was a prisoner of a concentration camp that used humans for experiments, he does not fight "robbers" or "mad scientists", he fights against the state, against the machine, the biggest villain in the movie. And reality is not so far from that. US government tested siphilis virus on human beings, thousands of ppl still suffer with such results.

Natalie Portman was obviously brilliant in this film. Hugo Weaving is underrated because whether or not he was actually behind the mask in any particular scene, his voice acting convinced you that he was behind the mask. And the subtle head movements throughout the film made V seem like a legit human character despite being behind a mask. My favorite movie of all time and probably the most underrated movie of all time. Great writing, acting, action, and storytelling

To all those concerned. Just because bulletproof vest stops the bullets from piercing a body doesnt mean the person isn't going to get injured. A mass barrage of bullets even light powered rounds like smg are still goung to massive trauma to the body. the reason he wasn't dropped in the first bullet was because he had a galvinized iron chest plate, so all shots to the chest didn't penetrate, all his blood would have been lost to joint dammage on his shoulders , elbows, knees, since he was wearing armor on his arms and legs, so i would say his death was due to mostly blood loss, and extreme blunt force trauma to the brain and lungs, overall this scene could be legitiment with a Nerve relaxer such as morphine, besides the knife throwing ..

It wasn't so much the injuries that killed him as his own "powers". The Batch 5 compound he was one of the experimental test subjects for not only gave him greatly enhanced strength, durability, speed, reaction time and intelligence but also was steadily killing him due to the side effect/source of the enhancement which caused his body/cells to effectively burn itself out. Basically the compound traded a shortened lifespan for the collective power of those lost years all at once, hence why his revenge plot was so strictly timed out, because he knew he was already dying.

when you throw a knife, you can control the rotation speed, as well as throw speed itself so its a matter of playing between having X distance of the knife pass per each rotation, most beginners throw at a constant speed and rotation, for that, you will have "windows" of strikes, for example, every 5 paces from you is a point where the knife will hit with its blade, every 2.5 paces would be the hilt. you learn to judge the distance and know where these "hit windows" are relative to your position
