അതല്ല കാരണം. ഇൻഡ്യയിൽ ഉള്ള നിയമം അനുസരിച്ച് ഒരു വിദേശി പ്രധാന മന്ത്രി ആകണം എങ്കിൽ അയാളുടെ രാജ്യത്ത് ഒരു ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനും ഉന്നത സ്ഥാനം വഹിക്കാൻ ഉള്ള നിയമം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം. ഇറ്റലിയിൽ അവിടുത്തെ നിയമം അനുസരിച്ച് ഒരു ഇൻഡ്യക്കാരന് അവിടുത്തെ പ്രധാന മന്ത്രി യോ പ്രസിഡൻറോ ആകാൻ കഴിയില്ല. അതാണ് സാമി കലാമിനോട് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയത്. കലാം അതംഗീകരിച്ചു.

Narasimha Rao like Chandra Sekhar earlier used to say Vajpayee is their political guru. Narasimha Rao when he was PM sent Vajpayee as the head of the Indian delegation including the then minister Salman Khurshid to sort out a tricky situation. Vajpayee was highly appreciated and the whole nation went glee for the way Atalji came out glorious. Narasimha Rao had blemishes of course for his laison with Chandra Swami and that pickle man. But it is to his credit he ran the ministry full term though a minority one and buying JMM MPs. He is appreciated for his behind the scene role in the demolition of Babri masjid and the construction of Ram Mandir. And he never allowed Soniaji to interfere in the governance and kept her at a distance. 🎉

@@areatalks9958 your are correct, this was a game changer,But the credit goes PVR not MMS who watched all looting like Dhritarashtra in Mahabharata .In epic it was Pitru Dharma in MMS case it was Coalition Dhram.Both cases ending with Dharma but end result was Adharama.

Manmohan Singh has been very lucky, from the time of getting admission to Cambridge due to his MA (econ) in Hoshiarpur just after the partition. It is common knowledge that the refugees from Pakistan rode the sympathy wave and bagged plum posts and berths in foreign universities. Dr.Singh is a manipulator, as every colleague of his in the GOI finance department knows. Dr.Narasimha Rao preferred him as the FM, because he had worked in the World bank and NARASIMHA RAO's decision of economic liberalization needed someone who could buffer the WB pressure for an avalanche of reforms that would have affected the poor in India adversely. (People who think that Dr.Singh was the mastermind of the decision for the reforms should understand that Dr. Singh was chosen by Dr. Rao after he had made up his mind on bringing in the reforms. (The Minsters are chosen by the P.M). Many forget that the decision for pledging the gold was not taken by the Chandrasekar government;s F.M Yashwant Sinha, BUT THE MAN WHO WAS THE ECONOMIC ADVISOR TO THE GOVERNMENT. Who was that man? The matter hardly discussed by commentators is that it was Dr.MANMOHAN SINGH. HOW COULD THE MAN SUDDENLY CHANGE UNDER DR.RAO?
