It's atmost 75 cm I can't see it going more than that, his plyometrics aren't that great for some reason I remember him mentioning that his broadjump was 2.9m which is really good for the average person but most sprinters are typically around 3.3 to 3.4

@hovejoha 3 жыл бұрын
You're probably right. I've measured 62.2cm on a force plate without using arms, this is pretty good though, as a contact plate will give you higher numbers. Broad jump has not been good, but increased to 3.14m recently. Also I would not consider standing jumps that plyometric. There is no reactive ground contact, and no use of ancle stiffness, which has a much bigger correlation to sprinting.

@@hovejoha yeah I think it's probably cause ur back squat or overall strength isn't as good as your power clean which limits your overall force production.

Hi. I like this video. I think is a good way to show the scientific part of the training. Do you know Sierra Nevada High Performance Center in Granada. Regards.

so you can powerclean nearly your backsquat. very impressive wich of these test do you think correlates best with sprinting speed?
@hovejoha
@hovejoha 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, my clean is 9kg more than my heaviest front squat heheh. I don't know, but I like the power clean better. I feel like it is less taxing while still providing a big power output.

You got into olympic weightlifting at a early age i think?
@hovejoha
@hovejoha 4 жыл бұрын
@@Leonidas-eu9bb I was probably 15 when I started to learn power cleans. Got a hang of it pretty quick, and built up an interest for the sport. So I continued to improve my technique through KZbin, and later got more technical coaching from a local lifting club.

Er senteret spesialisert for testing av friidrettsutøvere, eller kan det være nyttig å teste seg der hvis man eksempelvis driver med styrkeløft?
@hovejoha
@hovejoha 5 жыл бұрын
Er et stort senter som er egnet til mange idretter, tror det også gjøres tester av alle typer idrettsutøvere der. Er sikkert mer info på hpcsweden.com/
