You all missed the first annual North Idaho panhandle Overland Rally. It was a blast. What a great venue. 90 + acres of trails. These guys did a superb job putting on this event. They had dispersed camping throughout the forest. Everyone had their own spot, just like a campground. Wish Chris could have been there.

No need to be afraid of loneliness, atleast in India. Why? Because in India we have lots of people everywhere (so being lonely is out of question) And if you find a place without people there are plenty of wild animals.

Two of my Fave places and stomping grounds back in the day! The Big Horns and the Black Hills. I grew up in north west WY in a little town called Pine Haven. Gotta agree Scott's 1000 is the best bang for the buck TP. Let's see your in Custer. Well you might want to drive through Spearfish Canyon if your heading north, north east. And you've probably already thought about it but you should definitely check out the Badlands. One of the best mornings of my life was when I woke up in the Badlands after driving in late at night and sleeping in my truck. I awoke deep in the Badlands to a mid September sunrise and a heard of buffalo surrounding my truck. It was so spectacular!

My wife and I love the channel. We have a 91 Land Cruiser we use for treks across CO. We also go to SD (Black Hills) once a year and if it weren’t for the freezing winters we’d probably consider moving there. I hate to say it because I don’t like being critical but I was so disappointed that only 8 minutes of the “Black Hills” video was in SD and it was mainly just saying how little there was to do. Ugh soooo sad for me to see!!! 😢😢 There are a lot of off-road communities there. Please consider going back and if you can’t find some good options connect with some locals on where to go. I live in CO, grew up spending every summer in MT, OR, and WA and I’d still say the black hills is one of my favorite places in the US. Anyway, keep venturing forward!!

The Black Hills are indeed gorgeous! What you haven't seen is the week I took off (right after this video) was spent with friends mostly exploring the Black Hills, and we most certainly found some amazing trails - I was apparently poking around in the wrong place at the end of this video. I hope to get back there next year!
