Homestretch with this E38! In this one, we tie up loose ends and replace knock sensors, front brakes and fix pixels in the cluster. Then start with the makeover of the exterior by removing dents with PDR, touch up the paint, remove bumpers and side skirts to be repainted.

Some guy at BMW hopefully lost their job over these. This is the shittiest type of connection your 2 dollar pocket calculator uses and very cheap keyboards... both of which do not survive reassembly because of it. The damn thing is mounted by pressure... connectors BMW? you go all out on those every friggin place in these cars and the display cluster is just a throwaway item like this? the average 50 dollar laptop uses better ribbon cables with braces... I living in Qatar for over 10 years and true all of these years I have repaired a lot of cars and resold them. So everything Sreten saw on this car from mechanical repair, glued parts, interior, and cosmetical repair in Arab countries was considered a good repair. Believe it or not. How many times have I seen some Indian, Bangladesh or Nepali mechanical worker do some mind-blowing stuff to car just to repair some simple thing. 🤯 If anyone reads this and thinking of buying a car from the Middle East because is cheaper than his country, trust me there is a really good reason why is it like this.

The videos just keep getting better ! Just my personal experience, for what it’s worth , but applying a little smear of ATE PLASTILUBE on the shaft of the guide pin bolts makes for even slightly smoother brake feel. Also, the TEXTAR PADS are fine, but I’ve found using ATE CERAMIC PADS not only pretty well eliminates unsightly brake dust, but ALSO helps brake comfort, noise ( vibration minimisation) and rotor life. Ps. The Zimmerman rotors you fitted are the absolute best premium quality you can buy !!

When I was building and retrofitting cars at Aston Martin, the combination of a left-hand drive car with right-hand headlamps always caused some slight confusion on the production lines... I admire people who’s wiling to spend effort on those cars. They are endless money pits and the germans aren’t exactly giving away their crappy plastic parts.
