I messed with my E31 something awful. Must have put in 5 combos of springs and shocks before I was satisfied. Upper control arm [750iL Euro] and other bushings were the easy part. Oh forgot the mild camber plates. But I ended up having Bilstein custom valve some shocks by the time the beast was brought under control. EDC was only $2500 per corner. That would have been cheaper! Not saying it was tossable like my E60, but it was more than halfway there and as good as it gets if I do say so. So I need help too. PS. ozone is a bitch on all things rubber...

I'm a perfectionist as well. Which is why I have to say this. It's "You're". So in you are. "Your" is more of a possession like your hands. Your car. You are breaks down to "You're". 😂😂😂😂 I had to do it bro. It bugs me. There's another comment few comments below this one and it says "is'nt". I need to correct him as well to "isn't". The apostrophe replaced the "O". Like in You're the apostrophe replaced the "A". 😂😂😂😂

I'm a recent subscriber. Its been great following the latest builds but even better to come back to the beginning to see what the tools and garage looked like just 2 short years ago. Now you have more garage space, more lifts, parts cleaners, ramps, nice new tools etc. You really make me want to start on an old rebuild. I too had an original E36 M5 and absolutely loved it. I wish I still had it as I would certainly not be so concerned about maintaining it after watching some of your videos. Keep it up :-)

Love E38’s. In my stint at the UK BMW distribution centre I always used to make a beeline for E38’s at lunchtime. Bit of cricket on the TV and all that! We got the silver 750iL Bond car through the workshops along with several diplomat versions, often complete with armoured plating and life support systems (oxygen cylinders in boot in case of chemical/biological attack). Amazing vehicles. Sounded fantastic and were tuned to deal with the near 3 ton of weight all the armoured plate etc. added to the vehicle.

Next time when you have the ball joint separator tightened up, hit the balljoint with a hammer and it will pop. The combination of the stress + shock does it. Saves you from tightening that separator with so much force that the thing nearly breaks in two and hits you in the eye lol.
