I must say the quality of filming you do is excellent but for some reason I've noticed a cleaner picture and greater depth of field in this episode. You do such a great job without being that guy or team that has a huge production crew and sponsors! I really appreciate what you are doing...so inspirational!

Really enjoying your videos, particularly as a fellow Jeep overlander. You should definitely plan to spend some time in the B.C. interior (Kootenays) or further north near the Mackenzie trail someday. Endless logging roads and easy to find quiet and remote places to camp. Also the BC backroads mapbook can be valuable. There are downloadable GPS files as well.

Hi. Yah, you were here during our heat wave. But now, since August 1 the temps have been more 'normal'. The haze you were seeing around Mt. Baker is because of some wild fires in Eastern Washington. There have been years where you would not have been able to see Mt. Baker from that distance due to the smoke. Hope you enjoyed our beautiful state.

You just missed me over on Whidbey Island. So if your planning on going over to Vancouver, BC about 2 hours east up the on the Hope-princeton highway is what is known as the Hope Slide, one of the largest landslides ever recorded in Canada. It's worth the stop at the scenic viewpoint for a snack & stretch.. Then if you head into Alberta Banff National Park is worth checking out. I saw Bighorn sheep right alongside the highway when I was driving through. If you head back down into Washington message me I'd be happy to show you Mt Baker or anywhere in the North Cascades you want to go.

Hey Chris I am thinking about getting a 18 jl unlimited Rubicon. After seeing your set up wondering what exact set up with tent in top. I don't travel.to speak of but how does it affect the driving and noise compared to no roof top? I'd be using mine as my daily but would love to have that when I wanted to camp out fishing or just exploring on weekends. Thanks
@st8ton6 жыл бұрын
Chris uses an Ursa Minor camper top. To the best of my knowledge they are designing one for the new JL, yet to be released. It's not exactly something you'd want to be taking on and off often.
@montebeerbower77966 жыл бұрын
How does it ride with it on as a daily opposed.to off?
@Nunyabizn3ss6 жыл бұрын
One benefit to the Ursa Minor to is the Insulation it offers when it is down. It is much lower and lighter than a rack and roof top tent set up and you don’t need to exit the vehicle to get to bed. It has lower centre of gravity and less drag too, so fuel efficiency is much better. It not a cheap option by any means, but it’s the right option for you it is worth every cent.

MrWinger1951 why does it matter whether he responds to “comments” or not? He takes great pains to make half hour video that is worth watching.
@msjenkins6 жыл бұрын
srkn100 Because social media is meant to be kept social, and it expresses gratitude to people who take time out to view his content. It's impolite as a content creator to ask for people to subscribe and become patrons supporting your channel while remaining unreachable.
@srkn1006 жыл бұрын
Ms Jenkins the gratitude is mandatory. Since when? Thats news to me. You are contributing to his channel because YOU are enjoying the content he produces and NOT because he responds to every post of yours or others that contributes. Your logic is askewed about generosity on social media. Btw, he does provide his route maps and locations to his patreon subscribers and has no obligation none whatsoever to respond to free viewers.
@MrWinger19516 жыл бұрын
srkn 100: You might want to look into how viable YT channels remain as such. Its a business. And you're absolutely right about "free viewers" and I have no intention of being a Patreon contributor to any YT channel, and I subscribe to 110 at the moment. Are you a Patreon contributor?
