I had no idea you have to hold it to calm it down! I saw it two times and in both cases it was already crying and running away so my assumption was that it has to be killed before it finds it's mother or something.

@@LuckyJoe-r8j At first I didn't know what to do, it just ran away and a few moments later there was a big monster camping the only way out. That's why the second time I went for the kill with a knife thinking that if it gets silenced, nothing will get alarmed but I got stopped by the Bracken so I couldn't really test that theory. I've never seen it not crying so I thought that it does that on sight and since I've also never seen it transform, I thought it really is it's mother.
