I like the bed-liner idea on the floor boards. I think I’ll do that also!

i think those bolts. that held something were often used to hold Wire management clips / holders for the Harness in the engine Compartment those were very often “bunked “ up with paint and road debri that got Solashed into the area or even sloppily applied at the factory at least that’s what 2 of my MGB Cars had i actually used to go through Coutches and i often pulled the Engine and Transmission as a unit to replace the Clutch parts when i had the Engine Compartments empty i liked to physically detail the entire Compartment and i would temporarily remove those clips to wash and Wax that area

i had one hell of a time taking doors off a 79 MGB Roadster because of the # 3 Phillips head Machine Screws in the Hinges ? i tried everything i had in my Box and had no luck i ran to a local Ace Hardware store and they had a Cmfort Grip ScrewDriver that had a Shank that had a section you could use a Open End Wrench on i put a “Cheater “ on a older Craftsman Combination Wrench and with the help of a Buddy and some Propane heat we got them to break free yeah there was some bad Language i thought about drilling them out but then i’d be stuck putting it back together after reskinning and Painting the Doors ?
