Great vlog. Have not seen any videos before of Sicily. Hope your mom and you start feeling better soon. I am starting to read Anderson Cooper and Katherine Howe's book, Astor. I finished reading The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches which was very enjoyable-could definitely be a great TV movie. And I need to finish The Penguin Book of Witches edited by Katherine Howe!

What a beautiful trip. I hope you and your mom are fully recovered from traveling. I had to pause your video to look up a video about Sicilian granita and found there are two different types, one that is like a sorbet consistency and one that has more liquid. I’m intrigued.

Once upon a time, several years ago, I was coming back home to Canada (from a short holiday in the Philippines), and I had an overnight stay in Hong Kong, because my connecting flight was not available. If you've ever been in a Hong Kong hotel, they are like staying in sardine cans, and are several miles from the airport.
