The Film is set 8 months after Revenge of the Sith. I suppose since it’s still early for the reign of the Empire the clones still have their original armor.

The clones were used for some time after the formation of the Empire. But as the clones started to age due to their genetic engineering by the Kaminoans, the Empire decided to recruit normal beings from the galaxy for the stormtrooper corps rather than force the Kaminoans to make more clones. (In the EU, this was partly because there was a clone uprising on Kamino, and the Empire didn't want to risk another. However, "officially" there never was such an uprising).

I'm surprised it's taken you so long to react to this. Star Wars Theroy spent $200,000 making this and got in a huge legal dispute with Lucasflim themselves. He has now been ordered to fund the next episode by himself and can not receive any help in doing it. Really looking forward to episode 2. You should really check out his channel btw. All his videos are star wars gold!!!

While correct, you're description has some errors. He didn't have the legal dispute with Lucasfilm. He originally approached Lucasfilm with his idea and asked what the rules were. They said he could make it with the likeness and merchandise of Star Wars but cannot use any Star Wars music and could not crowdfund or monetize it. When he released it, he had an original score made that sounded similar to John WIlliams and that was copyright claimed by Warner/Chappell Music and Disney. So now instead of it being unmonitized as Lucasfilm requested, it was generating revenue for Warner/Chappell and Disney. After significant support from media and the community, Lucasfilm themselves forced Warner/Chappell and Disney to remove the strike as SWT followed the original agreement. As for the next episode, he is once again following the original agreement by Lucasfilm, he can accept donations for the film, but cannot crowdfund or profit from it.

Good on Lucasfilm and the fans for putting the mouse house in its place. If they had any sense, they would give SWT a job and make his planned "Vader" trilogy canon.

@guitars & deathstars -- Theory still funded the first episode all by himself, and it's 163K+ actually -- that was stated by Theory during one of the Q&As in several of his Vader screenings that he had when he rented out that theater but yeah, it's pretty much 200K though, it was close, whew! But regardless, he had to and has to fund the entire series himself.

And see, that's why I never get what some of the haters say when they say that Theory should've kept his mouth shut and let Disney monetize his fan film since they "own" it anyways. Because first of all, it was ALL done through blood, sweat and tears by the fans, for the fans. They technically own it yes, but they didn't do ANY of that work that was done that made it happen in the first place! And second of all, they had an agreement with Lucasfilm. Lucasfilm themselves didn't want it to be monetized whatsoever and even PROMISED Theory it wouldn't be. Just goes to show Lucasfilm still has integrity, unlike Disney, to this day! :)

@LouiseJulie - For the clones, it’s because Theory has officially stated that he wanted to stick as close to Star Wars Canon as possible, so what we can infer from that is that the new canon Marvel Vader comic series actually portrays Phase II Clone armor that is still in use well into the Rise of the Empire era - around a few years past ROTS.

Hey Luke got his hand cut off and fell from really high and made it. If you think about how far you have to fall to hit the bottom, Mace had a lot of time recover and stop his decent. Funfact: The reason why Star Wars Episode 3 is titled Revenge of the Sith is because Palpatine is avenging The Sith Holocaust which is one of the worst genocides ever orchestrated by the Jedi! The Sith Holocaust is the main reason why the Sith has an eternal everlasting hatred of the Jedi because most of the Sith race was exterminated to near extinction!
