The Starweird are the least of anyone's concerns in the horrifying depths of the unknown regions. Ancient Sith Spirits , Sith Cultists, and worlds lost to the time of the old republic await any wary travellers. The Rakatan empire had many worlds under their control, including one's with horrifying Sith Mutations , the Nekghoul being the prime example, the homeworld of the Rakghoul is rumoured to be in the unknown regions cut off after the jedi wiped all records of these events after the great hyperspace war.

I like how starweird are embodiment, manifestations of the dark side though. Proving that the nature of the unknown regions is a power unto itself, a mystical area with naturally occuring dark side influence. They and their queen are obviously sentient. Needs to be some more detailed lore written about them, or maybe better left as more a mystery? Or maybe there's an ancient Sith holocron out there that explains everything ever known about them?

It just shows that Anakin/Vader has super strong force powers that are so powerful that it could even challenge entities that embody the dark side of the force itself.

The Unknown Regions are like any number of anomalies and hazards that can be found in Star Trek, but R-Rated. "Alien despots hell-bent on killing us? Deadly spaceborne viruses and bacteria? Incomprehensible cosmic anomalies that could wipe us out in an instant!"

For all the dangers that exist in this forbidden region of the galaxy...imagine all the untouched resources, artifacts, and riches that exist there too. If you were a capable, cunning, and powerful enough pirate or explorer with a decent fleet, you could become a very rich and legendary figure if you managed to return.

one method i use as a means to include sith purebloods in modern star wars RPs and such they hid their knowing that most species and casual exploration wouldn't be able to find them their which also forged certain impurities out of their culture that i partly believe was at least amplified by the dark jedi. such as making them much more unified to survive in such a dangerous region as well as potentially through survival of the fittest also make them even more powerful then they were both through further weeding out the weak and dumb but also maybe resorted to alchemy and genetic modification to enhance the survivability of their species. with mainly just keeping spies and infiltrators being their main interaction with the wider galaxy to keep a eye on events but also get a hold of resources and tech when able some versions of this idea have also been slowly trying to alter and erase galactic historical records in regards to them partly as a means to explain legends star wars history and the current one the sith were erasing themselves from any records they could get ahold of which would also adjust and erase many other parts of history. Also given they likely remember what adas did to the rakata they might finish the job in part takeover any territory the rakata still control if anything cause those worlds would likely be habitable and unknown by other factions potentially

You should’ve added the Chiss. Because as a species of near-humans with no special attributes, aside from infrared vision and slightly higher intelligence, they built the most stable government capable of fighting off threats that would end all life in the Core, Mid and Outer Rims.

In the quiet of the night aboard the USS Enterprise, Commander Riker and Captain Picard found themselves in the captain's ready room, enjoying a rare moment of relaxation. The stars outside the window formed a mesmerizing backdrop, a reminder of the vastness of space they explored together. "Jean-Luc, do you ever tire of this endless journey?" Riker asked, his voice soft, almost reflective. Picard looked up from his book, a slight smile playing on his lips. "There are moments, Will, when the solitude of command can weigh heavily. But then, I think of the crew, of the friendships we've forged, and it all seems worthwhile." Riker nodded, understanding the sentiment all too well. "We've been through so much together. It's those bonds that keep us going, I think." The captain set his book aside and leaned back in his chair. "Indeed. It's not just the exploration of the unknown that drives us, but the connections we make along the way." There was a comfortable silence between them, one that spoke of years of mutual respect and camaraderie. Riker walked over to the replicator and ordered two glasses of Saurian brandy, handing one to Picard. "To friendship," Riker toasted, raising his glass. "To friendship," Picard echoed, clinking his glass against Riker's.

Wouldn’t the creepy creeps within the Unknown fear or get beat up by creepier creeps? Or is there some kind of an understanding to pick only on outsiders? The Randites who can imprison people within their minds with the power of the Force, and torment them with horrors eternal, seem like a particularly nasty sect. I think I’ll go around, and not use the region as a shortcut. Maybe I missed this, but how did they get there? Were they originally cast there as some sorts of prisoners? Is it the region that’s haunted, or did its inhabitants make it so? Can and do they go into the known regions to seek souls? Is there a hyperspace component to their existence? Are they spacefaring and have technology? (I guess the Laths were, to the extreme.). So many questions! It seems like a Dark Side clearinghouse there - is that what keeps the Force balanced? I thought the mention of an (or ‘the’) anti-Force was interesting; I’ll have to check out your other documentary. I like how supposedly the “Celestials ‘de-powered’ and ‘relocated’ the…” to secure the Kilix…very British use of the word ‘de-powered!’ 😊. The Celestials must have been quite the race. Are there any stories written that details their origin and heyday story? Do they still exist?

Is there a grand timeline of the SW galaxy, at a very high level, the starts with the beginnings of intelligent life all the way up to the Story’s ‘present?’ Oh, and is there any extra-galactic travel in the SW Storyline at all? Maybe from the migration from other galaxies way, way back? I remember seeing a doc that implied an SDI could travel from the Milky Way to Andromeda in three…can’t remember - three days, weeks, years. Does the galaxy have a proper name like ours, the Milky Way?
