You can walk all day and you will never overcome the damage that excessive alcohol consumption does to your liver. It will catch up to you eventually. If you can't moderate or quit altogether, you MUST take a few supplements to help protect your liver. They are... Coq10 (ubiquinol), omega3 fatty acids, n-acetyl cysteine (NAC), and milk thistle. There are others, but these 4 are the most important. If you drink a lot you should take them all every single day.

@normanzimmerman5029 Typical alcoholic cope. So you're saying destroying the body that God gave you so you can have a drunken buzz on on a regular basis is a superior lifestyle? Absolutely degenerate. It's not "living" to be an alcoholic. It is, in fact, slowly destroying yourself and everyone else around you. Nothing cool about it at all. A couple of drinks here and there is fine, but drinking every day and allowing yourself to succumb to alcoholism is just plain giving up on life.

The name of the nightclub was garbled, so I didn't get it, but the prospect of live Rock and Roll is appealing. I live near Cebu, and the hassles with crime keep me away except on a rare occasion for shopping. I used to enjoy live bands at the arguably famous All Star Sports Bar, with a fun crowd of all ages, but during the pandemic it changed owners and got a makeover, and it's nothing like before, so now Cebu is rather barren for live classic rock or oldies. In my experience, the key to a good time in the Philippines is stick to resort towns. I find the resort towns to be ultra low crime. I go diving at charming Moalboal and its like a best kept secret. All resort towns are kept safe in my experience. Just avoid Cebu and Manila. Don't say you weren't warned.
