I’ve got the 23 Prius LE, Toyota has totally won me over. Used to be a Mopar guy I’ve had 2 Rams, Charger, challenger, Grand Cherokee, & Caravan. Now I’m looking to trade in my 19 Ram for a 24 Tundra and grabbing a RAV4 prime.

Thank you for the video! It's solidified my decision in picking up one of these as my next vehicle as I search for something to get better mpg. I'll still never understand how a car at this price point in 2024 can have an unresponsive touchscreen. Don't get me wrong, it looks more than usable, but with touchscreen technology nowadays, it's astonishing how slow responding a touchscreen in a $30k car can be.

I believe it is actually less aerodynamic than the older models, but it looks much better. The major downside is the reduced cargo area. Compared to a 2010 Prius, it much smaller, won't be able to haul stuff. Might not have enough space for all the stuff I need for Burning Man.
@VagabondBuilds6 ай бұрын
Yea. I have to say, the cargo area was a loss but the car in general looks much better. Better mpg as well

I still have my '05 Prius (incredible car if you take care of it). I really hate to say this cause I want to upgrade, but although this new one looks far better, I like my 2nd Gen still better than this new one (with the exception of the seats). They forgot who their market was, the low roofline just doesn't work, and I'd like my spare tire please. Keyless entry was standard in my '05 and I prefer the old sliding trunk cover/lid liner than the new solid piece (to cover trunk). I want to upgrade, but I think I'll have to wait or look another car option (Maybe Model 3 or Elantra).

I see and understand where you’re coming from honestly. I was a big space prius guy as well.
@ramonparadela781727 күн бұрын
Yes, the 2024 Toyota Prius LE comes standard with remote keyless entry and a push-button start. Toyota calls this feature Smart Entry, which allows you to enter your vehicle without a key.

Is it worth considering buy? I am looking for Hybrid AWD cars so thinking if i can consider this ? Thanks.
@VagabondBuilds8 ай бұрын
Yes, definitely but it’s not AWD…. Honestly… it’s great from the perspective of hybrid and reliability. Just AWD is a bit thing…
@suryak6578 ай бұрын
Oh. I thought it's AWD
@TomLawlor-iq6gm4 ай бұрын
@@VagabondBuilds In Canada this model is called SE. Here, all trim levels of the regular Prius come with AWD as a standard feature. But, sadly, the Prime version does not have AWD in any trim level. No room for a third electric motor, the battery is too big to allow one. No room for a spare under the hatch either. Toyota has a Spare Kit that includes a full size tire and rim, wrench and jack and, a steel plate to put over the electrical junction under the floor. Alas, the kit will not fit in the Prime models, again, due to the large battery.

You get a bit better gas mileage with those and they’re a less expensive tire, at least in my area of So Cal. I’m uncertain about the aesthetic, however.
