I made a huge base from another channel, and had my boars up front on the side. I put up the the final lighting, four torches on the front and noticed squealing.......I moved them off onto a quiet small dark meadow, which was still nicely tucked into my enormous land mass moat!!!

An iron pole from the very bottom all the way through the roof is the answer to the roof problems!!

Even though i love the entire idea of this house, too much of the video is cut out or not even shown like how in the front of the house, 4 roof parts at 7:19 are replaced with "Thatch roof i-corner 45". I Would really love if this build was revisited with not as much cuts and more in depth steps due to most of the Log Poles also messing with the wooden beam lining on both the roof and the base.

While I really like this build, its not optimal. At least not if you have animals in the area below the house. They are afraid of fire and won't breed and only run in circles because they are so afraid. Otherwise: great job!

When I try to build the hearth, after a few seconds it automatically destroys itself. I see that in the video you managed to build it with the pole in the center, how did you do it?

You can only build hearth on very stable floor like ground or stone

This is a step up for housing and pet areas.😊 Usually, everyone keeps their pets outside, corraled off, but this way you just go downstairs and feed them.😲 Good job.👍🏽 Me, I'm going to be looking into motes, I usually put walls around my bases cuz of baddie hordes, now cuz of getting closer to troll forests, motes are going to be my next big project for protecting my bases as I get closer to the Black Forest coming up soon.🧐

One of my favs this week! I would try and add smelters below but on the mountain ;). And remember guys even one hit of the pickaxe or using the hoe would add 1 instance to the game world engine until they fix how it works terraform only if necessary like in this video, don't go all in doing trenches and shit bc your fps will die before you even start building.

I’ve had the same. I flattened an area of land for a farm, basically pick-axed some rolling hills away. Now when I walk towards it, so it comes into view, there’s a noticeable FPS drop even with a good spec PC. Basically the game doesn’t like any changes to the terrain, it has to recalculate every change you’ve made

There are building roof tutorials. I believe 3 tiles Max on each slope before needing reinforcement or beams.

If you are doing this exact build - it is important to note the iron beam he put through the middle to hold up the roof :) He kinda snuck it in there - but you can see it in the fly-through at the end ! :)

Built this as best as I could following the video, it’s not structurally sound however, and you will run into that with the last bits of the roof constantly breaking down.

You should put horizontal iron wood next to the roof. This is kinda expensive but I think this is the only way

He has iron pole supports hidden inside the wood supports. You can build the iron like 6 high and the roof will still be green.

I noticed in the video they skipped a lil part, they have a Wood Iron Pole going from the ground all the way to the Roof and thats how its all held together.

Pour tous ceux qui n'arrive pas car la structure se casse, vous devez ajouter des "poteau de fer et bois" (sa se fait avec 1 fer et 2 bois) qui commence du sol jusqu'au toit, tout ce qui touche ces poteaux, c'est comme si sa touchait le sol (couleur bleu) !!!

hes prolly using the Forever Build Mod it allows you to always be able to build no matter how high up you go

A good note you should know when in god mode when a building piece cannot be supported normally it would just dismantle itself so in normal mode when i try to copy what you did it just breaks. Gonna be tricky for me to replicate it.
