Respect. I appreciate a builder who is unafraid to cut into a mountain. I was thinking of making a base out of one of those ruins, but I got lazy... then I spent two weeks on a different ruin. I have to admit I am fond of the Stone Arch Rotundas, clever.

Thank you :) I'm currently working on a similar build with the circular ruin, I wanted the base to have more rooms

I have to say, your accent is absolutely delightful. Also, the video is so calming. And thank you for an inspiration for my future mountain base. I'm scoping ahead a little bit, as I'm still just in the Black forest (I'm new to the game), but I love watching people build in Valheim. There's always something I didn't even think of. Also... not Hugin being built into the wall 🤣

Well done! I enjoy building as well. I've built up more than down, but this gives me ideas.

Simple and elegant gives me an idea. Wonder if you can use the entire mountain for a base. How much can you hollow out, how many rooms, levels, etc etc etc. Can not wait until I come across the mountain biome to find out.

I've been told you can only dig so far down but I've never tested it and thank you very much :)

@@elreanafayn8542 You can only dig down or raise 16 clicks from all the testing I've done. That is based on the original terrain height.

could you give a seed and map location as that is the perfect spot for an absolutely massive base with a large amount of in underground due to all the large boulders around that ruin. its the kind of place that you make a main base.

I absolutely love it. But how do you get your stone floor tiles to stay suspended across those unsupported expenses without collapsing in?
@elreanafayn85423 жыл бұрын
Thank you :) and I just went around the edges until the met in the middle, some would fall but if that happened I'd either join it to a different part of the ceiling or if there was only a small gap I'd just put a small stone wall there instead :) if that makes any sense ahah

@@elreanafayn8542 and it stayed? No stone cheats? That’s like a miracle to me
@elreanafayn85423 жыл бұрын
@@tjmoore428 it's really tedious to try and get them to stay but I eventually manage, I wasn't aware that there was stone cheats? :)

The ruins look just like the ones in Skyrim.

With rooms that big you dont need chimneys that go all the way up and out
