Valheim - My Mistlands Base

I was thinking about building on one of those mountains in mistlands aswell but it just seems like soo much work. Also really nice base

My friends and i wanted to try something like this but are worried about gjals detroying the stone pillars and everything else? Do they destroy the large stone pillars?

I believe they do. This the reason I like to build on small islands as this to somewhat prevents raids. Monsters do not spawn in water, I did not get any Gjals or very few on this location. One soldier ant broke one stone corner. After that I have workbenches also over the place, Also in the nearby islands. Now only one that raids are those pesky bats.
