MicroPowerPC has very well built small form factor prebuilts that stay nice and cool even with overclocking. If you want a mini gaming PC they are the best choice without a doubt

What about Beelink SER6 Max Gaming machine? (Ryzen 9 - 6900HX) with 1TB M.2 NVe SSD and 32GB DDR 5 4800Mhz.. Current (as of 01/17/2024) price is $599 (US) and has a $100 coupon when ordered (Note: This is from Beelink may not be with all sellers). There is even faster Ryzen 9 but we are talking $949. If we are talking about $599 or less.. I would say the Beelink SER6 Max is the winner in my opinion. (Note I didn't post any links because I didn't know if we are allowed to do so).

Can't really put Apple Mac mini in the same category as the rest because you can't install a windows. Is not a peer-to-peer comparison. I know MacOS runs more efficiently than WinOS, but it doesn't really project Mac Mini as more superior than others.. unless all runs on the same platform.

I ordered a Gen Machine mini PC from Ali Express, AMD 7535hs 6 core 12 threads, 32gb ram 1tb SSD 680m graphics for my mom, to replace her old fx6100 desktop that is 30 times bigger lol. So far works great. Only issue I had was adding 2nd 3.5in SSD, there's a mini vrm cooling fan that sits lil too high to fit that SSD. So just made it external via usb 3.2 enclosure

I had the same question, but after reading about crashes and BIOS updates I think I will go with the same setup from Geekom, with 3 years of waranty

@@crnova7 Some Geekom models have had DPC latency issues, causing problems with sound and games. Perhaps you should wait for the new Geekom models that are coming soon. For example, the A8. I have a Minisforum um790 Pro which has worked flawlessly since flashing the new bios version (1.09).

Depends on the type of work you want to do and your budget. Apple Mac mini with 16 GBRAM is value for money, suitable for almost most of office and student workloads.

As per my understanding i can tell you the config which should be enuf for you, exact device you have to find in your market as per prices. You can go for anything with Intel core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, 16 Gb RAM and 256 GB SSD. For light gaming integrated graphics should do. This setup would serve you well even if your workload increases.

I bought the Kamrui for 374 on amazon (sale it was 750) AMD Ryzen 7 5700u with Radeon Graphics, 16gs of RAM 1.80gz. This little dude has run MOST of what I've thrown at it. Elden Ring runs at max, all Metal Gear even Metal Gear V and ground zero also tried Remnant 2 and its just beautiful. I'm itching to try Red Dead Redemption 2, the flaw with this model is just 500 gigs of memory. I'm contemplating taking my laptops memory and wiping it and putting the card in because you can just slide the panel off and put anything under the hood.
