Thanks for posting this video! My 2016 Kia optima thats at 99,300 miles and had same misfiring cylinder #4 that started last Sunday. Exact same symptoms. My spark plug had a thick oily sludge that was probably grounding the spark. I would lose oil between my 6 month oil changes with mobil 1 extended performance full syn but no oil leak nor blue smoke. Really confirms my decision to have it investigated further at the dealership before that 100k mile mark. Also thanks for sharing info regarding extended engine replacment program.

2015 . 3.3 Sorrento 2,4,6 misfire all new plugs all new coils all new cam sensors (4). Still getting same codes. Is this harness related your thoughts 215k mileage.

I would look into what those cylinders share in common. What codes is it throwing? Typically if it's an electrical issue you'll get a circuit fault code like circuit high or circuit low. A clogged cat can affect one bank and not the other. What else would affect one whole side and not the other? That's your question. Let's start with what specific codes you have currently and see if you can trip another code by unplugging an injector and ignition coil.

Thanks, KIA optima FE They knew they sold me a screw up engine.Yes. also cylinder number four ,when I had a car only 30 days they wanted to charge me $338 to exchange one spark plug.
