My neurologist prescribed Depakote to treat epilepsy. He put me on Lamotrigine years ago but I started having seizures more often so he wanted to add something else. These two drugs do not work together. I had double vision, could not walk, memory loss, periods of unconsciousness, paranoia and slept all of the time. I ended up in the hospital within days of taking this combination. My doctor did lower the dose of Depakote and some of my symptoms improved. I had no idea what was going on with me at the time. I had to go to rehab to learn to use a walker. While in rehab,, I could not remember the swipe pattern to unlock my phone. When I figured out what happened, I quit taking Depakote immediately. It took about 4 weeks to get back to normal. My neurologist was surprised I quit taking it.

This is one of the best channels on meds. But please also look into nutritional / metabolic psychiatrist in conjunction with medication therapy. We have to tackle the root cause of these illnesses not just cover up the symptoms.

What does "accidental injury" mean as a potential side effect?? I feel like I am already accident prone. Will this make it worse?

Can I just say with 100% love that your stylistic choices in this video and anxiety and nausea-inducing. Overexposure, slow zoom-in and then stock images of a guy convulsing in what looks like a Victorian mad house. Just bizarre and really gets in the way of what you’re saying.
