They pushed an update regarding hitbox alingment with characktermodel. I personally havent had issues with that since but i saw teammates shots not getting registered, especially with awp where u see the tracer. Dead on bodyshot, unmistakeble, yet 0 damage

The firing animation and click registration is not synced. Hence, you cannot look for the animation to confirm you have hit.
