My personal favourite is to add tomatoes in the roasting, and do the bread as burrata, garlic+ tomatoes, then a big basil leaf on top. Confit + Caprese + Bruschetta = GOOD

garlic confit can be made using any neutral vegetable oil as cooking it will mostly evaporate any flavor, so you dont have to bother yourself with expensive olive oil! garlic confit goes really well on toasts without cream cheese, too, but i prefer adding it to my steaks instead, it is a very good combination, in my opinion! dont forget to sprinkle some salt on tol of your spreaded garlic to enhance it's flavor.

i used to eat something similar when i was like 13 (it was very unhealthy but tasty ig) id pretty much fry bread in oil till it was very crispy then id take raw garlic and literally rub like half of it on the fried bread , then spread cream cheese on it and add canned corn for some reason i really enjoyed it and it brought me like hella comfort its a very weird combination but it worked lol
