Vampire TANK - Void Gauntlet Leech Tanking Build - New World

I've been running a similar build for a while now, you've always been my #1 source of healing info and builds since nearly 2 months but I never saw you roll this before this video (maybe you did but I would've missed it then) and seeing this now reassures my choice in a certain way :P I really like this build, I often off-tank when my tank dies or we fight two dogs and one gets away or for wtv reason but I'm mainly always the healer 'first' so my teammates like it when I stay healer and watch their back but I know I can go there in the middle of the pack and make a statement lol I just know I can pretty much solo anything otherwise, when I'm in party, I try to stay in my healing position but yea Ima try and push the limits with that build. PVP wise, it's really fun to play, you get to go in there, dodge their sht and drop it like it's hot XD Tks Lemoni and merry Christmas to all ! :P (in case you don't do another video before that date, ughh blasphemy, what am I saying ;)

I personally run Leeching on my ring and put Keen, keenly fortify and enchanted on my VG.

Is this a build that I can play viably at lower levels, or do I have to wait until I'm maxed out before attempting? I would love to level while playing this build so I can get use to it's rotations and such.

Focus is PVP. Swapping over from Mid VG/IG. Using Ghostclaw at the moment, looking into getting nothingness. Haven't got the Heavy gear yet but have most of the perks (Voracious Blade, Leeching, 30%~ base crit, Putrefying Sream, 15% Resil and a few others). Stats: 200 Cont, 182 Int, 62 Foc. Full Left VG and recommended LS build. Mainly trying this for PVP but don't seem to be getting enough life steal. Haven't been charging in yet, mainly 1v1 ,1v2 and 1v3. Going to try heavy and see how it goes. Still learning LS, could be my weak point. Interested to see others experience.

Hi, does Leeching Agony passive works only on VG or remains active when u switch to another weapon?

I like running the void gauntlet so this is very helpful as far as what to use for secondary to tank.

Heavy is nice for the tanking and i see thats your goal with this build but how do you think this build would be with medium armor for the 15% bonus healing and 10% bonus weapon dmg? i feel like it'd pair pretty good with the lifesteel with PvP atleast not maybe tanking lots of mobs in PvE

@@TheLastOfTheMeheecans it depends the pvp type , in open world pvp (mostly solo ) medium is better , if you are playing in middle of the action ( like seen in the video ) and in wars (and also friendly duels ) , heavy is the way , in conclusion this build is better in groups with heavy armor , the only downside of this build is ranged high mobile builds will stay out of reach forever , that's why you need someone with you to take care of them , but vs all melee builds , you are near a god

I can confirm that your PvP build is 100% effective. I use a very similar build all the time. Life and death is how I look at it.

Would you change anything in this build if you were to do it for wars? There are some in my company that get 500K heals in a war and I’m only pushing 300 with 50int 300 foc and 100 con.

Ideally you want the +stamina perk so you can get two sidesteps without using all of your stamina. This is essentially a dodge leech tank.

I run a similar lifestaff build however I do get the protector touch and the left perk for cooldown reduction because I always weave light attacks between my heals when I'm reapplying them lid fight. The cooldown reduction, although small, make the rotation A lot smoother imo. And the fortify buff save me some hp when I'm hit when reapplying the heals on myself. I think it's worth it, more than the healing aura perk on 120 sec cooldown.

The focus pip that gives mana on kill from group is crazy good for keeping your mana up. I run 160 con, rest in focus and use con food for pve tanking to hit 200.

Just a heads up… orb of decay and the void blade do the same thing. So for a build it’s one or the other.

Does re habitalizing beacon healing increase apply when you switch weapons? For example, you use beacon and change to hatchet and use berserk, does healing from berserk also increase?

@@LemoniGames I tested it and it works. I used beacon and changed to hatchet and used berserk. It increased healing from berserk. So i would assume it would increase healing from any void gauntlet healing as well... The increase is upto 37(?)% for 12 seconds. I think this is huge.

Have you tried dropping sacred ground for splash of light? I'm tossing a splash down every seven seconds and I haven't met a healer yet that doesn't keep sacred ground down, and they don't stack and my healer usually has more focus.

Lifesteal tank is nice to go. More damage as a tank indeed. Pala works well aswell tank/ heal. but void is dmg, heal tank. I Guess they have a hard time kill you in pvp. Life staff and void is what im ussaly using. Working on the life steal. but takes time to progress. i just got my armoring til 200.

It’s been a while since I’ve tested the Leeching Blade perk on the annihilation tree, but it didn’t work and I have not seen any patch notes regarding it being fixed. When I tested this, would have 3 stacks of disintegrate on a target and hit for 2k dmg, but only heal for 20hp. Also, what about BLESSED on the void gauntlet ??

This build is more oppresive than GA builds were pre-nerf. Expecting some sort of nerf to this build, at least for pvp. No build should make you almost unkillable.

@@LemoniGames look at the first 5 minutes of your video, knockback means you are taking damage and not healing yourself with the life steal and not generating agro because you are staggered all the time. I tried to make this work but you cannot be a main tank like this. Though if you didnt care about damage you could go str build with VG for the grit, would def be fun but not sure about the effectiveness.

In the weapon it'll still generate additional threat. The taunt activation is a separate perk within the gem.

@@venaseph6314 from a cut carnelian gem: "Taunts are active. You generate 200% more threat." It activates taunts *and* causes the weapon to generate more threat. It's not optimal for non-taunt weapons, but it's there.
