Damn at this rate I'm gonna need to find a World of Darkness group because this universe is dope. Working 60ish hour weeks while playing Pathfinder and World of Darkness might be a struggle but it'll be worth it

I mean... who needs sleep anyways? Everyone knows a good ttrpg game can easily substitute for that lol. Though if you need to scratch that VtM itch I recommend playing Bloodlines. Just get that and then the unofficial patch and the game absolutely rules.

Thank you mr Glueboy for the vid ! Also I wanna mention that in 5th edition Celerity 5 gives you the power to subtly retcon things. The example the book gives is something like "If the dm says a door closes you can change it to where you get in the room before the door closes"

Dagon's call is still there it is now a ritual but essentially yes it is just sooo threatning i love it ! Sources : P.277 of the core rule book. Now you can keep drowning your enemies with blood just it is available to tremere as well and necessitate times to prepare and physical contact of your vitae with the target at least once during the last 7 days.

I’m just so amused by how many plot beats in Vampire revolving around some powerful Vampire coming back and just being “Pissed” at whats been going on. Cain comes back to find the 2nd Generation has been murdered, “he’s pretty pissed”. Any Antediluvian wakes up, “pretty pissed”. 🤣🤣🤣

Hemomancy sounds very useful for an assassin clan. Can a Banu Haqim character manipulate someone's blood to induce a heart attack or stroke?

Not really. The only ones who can are very strong, lower generation Banu Haqim. The type of powers a player character will most likely never get to.

They used to be called the Assumites. So anything pre 20th Anniversary will use that name.

I just stick with my Homebrews. Paradox sucks at what they are doing, and even when VTM was at its best in the 90s and early 2000s, there were things in the lore, rules, and mechanics that didn't make sense to me. So I just make my own World of Darkness where I change the rules, lore, and mechanics to fit my homebrews. Where Vampires are Monsters and not pussies. I would add in prehistories to unite all mythologies and not focus on the Abrahamic ones. I would add in way more second and thirteen generations, and I would make all the clan founders that survived all want to usurp the second and even their Patriarch Caine. Where the founders ended up killing all the thirteen and second that were loyal to the dark father and would be cursed with devolution where they will awaken as hideous deformed monsters when Gehenna arrives. I would also make the world of darkness is more darker, and more ancient than ever before by adding in omens of dread, and have Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror entities as the real manipulators and puppetmasters to all supernatural creatures on the chess board, where even the monstrous Antidelluvians and Caine are their playthings.

I mean personally I enjoy the direction Paradox has taken VtM. I have some gripes but the core mechanics of V5 are way more enjoyable imo. But all that really matters is if you and your table is having fun, so go wild man lol. Thats all that matters in tabletop.

Banu Haqim sound boring. Brujah are boring. If boring Ventrue are the final one, then I'll play as Tremere. I'm not bloody paying DLC to get the best clan, Toreador. But this game seems more and more like it will be terrible and not worth buying at launch anyway.

I know you didnt just shit on my boys the Banu Haqim just to gas up Toreador of all clans lmao. Mostly kidding. Tbh I think its a safe bet that Ventrue or Toreador are the final base game clan. I called it way before but they are going normal rpg archtypes for the clans. Fighter, Mage, Rogue, and now Face. Though I'm also a weirdo who hopes the face pick is Lasombra cause they are sick. But yeah. Bloodlines 2 is getting real hard to get hyped about lol.

@@glueboy I've played stealthy in stealth only games and had fun, but never thought about wanting that in Bloodlines 1. Celerity and combat is much more fun to me than sneaking to stab enemies in the back. So that is why they sound boring for me to play.

Fair fair. Personal taste be like that as I enjoy pure stealth stuff. Tbh my only worry is how blood sorcery will work for Banu Haqim. They got a bunch of unique powers like filling peoples lungs with blood. I will be so sad if they cant lol
