I get the impression that lots of players assume that The Arms of Ahriman work like Doc Octopus arms and wave about in the air. From the description of the power they need to travel along a surface, which I think is actually more creepy.

I see them as two dimensional shadowy tendrils that can appear from any shadow. A Lasombra can surround themselves with shadows can create them from that, but is it indeed more creepy, and tactical to have them appear away from yourself. That leaves you hidden while the arms fight for you. :)

@@thesanguinewizard I think calling them Arms of Ahriman is kind of misleading. Maybe Lines or Snares of Ahriman would have been a better name ;-)

You might be on to something. Tbh I don't even know who or what ahriman is. 😅

@@thesanguinewizard He’s the devil in the Persian Zoroastrianism faith (or the leader or the Thousand Sons chaos spacemarine legion in 40k). I assume VTM was referring to the former 😏
