You have very good taste!!! Van Halen is one of the Greatest Bands ever. Every song is a Banger. Very unique band consisting of the Eddie Van Halen - The Greatest Electric Guitarist in the World, David Lee Roth - the Greatest Front man ever, and great singing. Their background vocals are epic thanks to Michael Anthony, the bass player. You have to see Eddie Van Halen's guitar solo on "Live without a Net" He was the most creative guitarist ever. There will never be another one like him. Great Job! They have so many Great Songs -- you have to check them out more!!!

Probably my all-time favorite Van Halen song. They were kooky, they were poppy and they rocked. VH, especially with David Lee Roth as the singer, was a pure party band. As a kid growing up in rural Kentucky, when I saw that video, it took me away to a rock n roll fantasyland and I was hooked. VH has a ton of hits. Check out Jump, Drop Dead Legs, Girl You Really Got Me, and the list goes on.

I have long maintained that the 80s "hair band/glam rock" genre, was just guys trying to sound like Eddie Van Halen, and look like Diamond Dave. But nobody ever says that out loud. They started all that in 70s, when everyone else was trying to be Led Zeppelin.

One of the all time greatest rock bands ever. Eddie Van Halen (R.I.P.) was such a pioneer for playing the guitar and I can't recommend stongly enough watching his live performance of 'Eruption'...a true musical genius. Great one to react with! 🤘🤘

Great reaction! This video makes me happy as I remember how things were when this came out. It also makes me a little sad that those days are gone forever. Eddie Van Halen left us too soon, but he and the band left us with awesome music and memories. Thank you for reacting to this rock classic.

Actually the guitarist Eddie van Halen and the drummer Alex van Halen are Dutch. They moved to the USA with there parents and started the band.

For me, You are right that there is something not right with music today.. Those were the best of times. It was fun, sexy and bad ass. We rocked and partied, and also worked hard for a living, but even working hard had something special about it. The future looked incredible and exciting. Of course I am partial as I am 60 now. I want to be transported back there.

What a fun, upbeat song to react to. I could be wrong, but I think the lyrics were non-sensical. David Lee Roth, the lead singer with all the "rock God" hair, is now practically bald 😄 and the lead guitarist is now deceased. The song was certainly full of energy!!

They sold out 3 shows in Houston Texas on the 1984 tour. I went to the 3rd show. So many women were throwing bras and panties on the stage...lol. so many women wore spandex pants....it was a great show....They were at the top of their game....Eddie Van Halen...incredible solo...Michael Anthony Bass Solo...Alex Drum Solo...and Dadid Lee Roth....what a persona...charasmastic.....

I was fortunate enough to see Van Halen several times in the late 70's early 80's. The live footage in the video was supposedly filmed in Philadelphia. If true, I was probably at that show. Van Halen shows were a party with great music. I suggest you listen to the song Hot for Teacher. Eddie Van Halen was a guitar genius.

They are very American, of course, but the Van Halen brothers actually immigrated from Holland when they were kids. Which means that half the band are Dutch as well as American.
