Love how everyone thinks they are a music expert lmao. This is VAN HALEN. They single handed-ly changed the way people rock and roll. Eddie Van Halen is greatest guitarist to ever see the light of day! And Diamond Dave may be a little off, but even he is one of the greatest front men that rock has ever seen! Get a life people! Van Halen doesn't need to prove themselves anymore.

Someone who thinks they know what the perfect sound of music is and thinks that a musician must always sound the same from a studio recording and live performances, and doesn't take into consideration the aging process that these musicians have undergone. Opinions vary, but I'm addressing Roth's voice and how everyone thinks it's beyond gone when in reality he still has the tone and sound, he just needs to stick to his lower "Van Halen" sound and not yelp some of the lyrics. Voice isn't like a guitar, it doesn't go through effects and processing to sound the same as it once did.
@Mrpretpakket10 жыл бұрын
Darrin Moore I bet that if you have a masked Edward van Halen expain in a KZbin video exactly how he played certain licks from the old albums there are plenty of peopel around who will pop up to tell him that he does it completely wrong, that is tone sucks and that he can't play for shit. And I agree with you on DLR. I think he was never a great singer btw, but I really suspect some people to just click on VH live video's for the sole purpose of saying that his voice sucks and that he is not jumping around like a 20-something yo. It is all kind of pathetic when you think about it. This is indeed VAN HALEN, a band that inspired many, many other bands and musicians. They don't make them like this anymore.

These guys have been doing this for 40 years! The exception is Wolfie. These guys are on stage doing what they know best. That's entertaining those who bought tickets. But you need to remember these guys are probably hurting too. They don't show it on stage. Ed has been hammering on those guitars 40 plus years. Think his hands don't ache? Dave, with all those aerial stage antics, his vocals and screams.. Why do you think his voice is a little shot, or he can't FLY AROUND DOING SPLITS. Please remember before you put them down. They've worked a lot harder than some of you doing the complaining. So let the rest of us enjoy the music. Thanks!

In this video it from this angle it looks like Alex’s drums are blocking him. I don’t know if you know about Wolfgang’s band “ Mammoth WVH “ or not but check him out. He’s insanely talented.
