Lubec is beautiful! I live in Maine about 3 hours North! There's some great camping in the North Maine woods if you want to get adventurous with your van!

When in Lubec be sure to go across the bridge to Campobello Island (which is in New Brunswick, Canada) -- you can tour the summer home of FDR, then turn around and return to Maine.

Eastern most point in the lower 48 . Alaska has the farthest points east and west ! Part of the Aleutian islands are actually the farthest east and west ! Pretty crazy , right ? Look it up

That is the Fort Knox. I live really close by. They housed prisoners there and shot ships from there. It is very haunted. There have been a few paranormal investigators that have done things there

@RyaStream, first off, I would like to wish Lorren a belated Happy Birthday. She does not look a day over 20, so count your blessings, Rya 🤣. Second, Maine is an incredible State full of history and beauty, almost magical in some respects. I’m happy you were both able to enjoy some time together, away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. You really should visit British Columbia, especially if you enjoy places where civilization is completely and utterly absent. Tofino, on Vancouver Island, is an incredible place to visit, with camping, hiking and surfing year round. The Vancouver area is one of the only places in the world where one can go skiing in the morning, then go swimming in the ocean in the afternoon (if you pick the right time of year). There is also Kodiak Island, location of the largest bears in the world. I am not sure if you will ever be able to do so, but I thought I’d float the idea by you if you’re looking to find more places to explore. Take care, both of you, and while I cannot watch the live streams due to my work hours, I always watch the replays. Cheers 🥂.
