Just got back from my one month New Zealand tour, if you can try to do a helicopter ride to one of the glaciers, and for sure do the Milford track! The drive south to Kaikoura from picton is epic!! Wetaworks is pretty cool in Wellington and their museum too!

I was born in NZ and have spent all of my life (minus 2 weeks in Australia) and I have never been to the North Island!! Glad you're enjoying NZ so far. I don't live in a particularly touristy spot in the South Island but it's got some nice spots, you'll likely pass through if you're ferrying from Wellington to Picton. I live in Blenheim. There are lots of lovely walks around here, and the Pelorus River is stunning, and great for swimming at this time of year. Hope you enjoy your time here in NZ!

Pelorus River was also in one of The Hobbit movies, right under the Pelorus Bridge, if you watched those :D It was pretty exciting for me to see a place I used to drive past all the time in a massive major film like those lol.

Ohh...just saw your comment about Amazon and the light. Something like that happened with me on an Amazon order of 3 pairs of jeans, by them initially sending the wrong size. They told me to 'Keep Them for Free' and "They'd send me the correct size"?? I said, "i don't want them for Free they Don't fit, im sending them back". You guys should totally use your toilet. Seth needs to suck it up :-). We lived for a year with one of them as our toilet across 25 countries. In New Zealand there are dump stations for them all over. Are you using the Campermate App?? Don't do nature poo. Nature poo is the main reason lot of New Zealanders want to ban freedom camping totally. People are gross!! I saw shit and paper by a picnic table this summer.
