Torque specs:
Drain and fill plug: 20nm or 14ft-lbs

Really straight forward video! I am looking into doing a transaxle fluid change on my MK2 golf, and this video gives me a better idea of how to do that, even if the vehicles are different.

I have one that’s for you mk2! Well it’s on a mk1, but it’s the same. Just search mk1 transmission fluid change. It’s one of my older videos, but still extremely accurate!

That gear oil looked brand new

Only had 1000 miles on it. Doing two early changes since the transmission was just rebuilt. Gear oil is cheap, a transmission rebuild is not
