Hi Peter. The boat is looking great and not at all stubborn in the way she cuts through the water. It handles well under your skippering in marinas. Very impressive and a delight to see you cruising. I enjoyed a visit to Vancouver and Granville Island on my last per covid trip overseas. If only we could go again. J from lockdown in Sydney Australia.

MV Geordie steers in reverse? Thats a rare vessel indeed. Not really, but it’s seemed to have been a predisposition for several boats I’ve had to never, ever steer in reverse. Which resulted in them being sold off. Maybe I will get lucky on the next one. Also, I sometimes watch your episodes with closed captioning turned on, and this time, the engine noise as you maneuvered around the docks showed up as “applause“, several times. I thought it was fitting, as we applaud your efforts to restore and cruise on that gorgeous old boat! Thanks again, Peter!

Hi Peter, I don't think you're a stubborn man. But maybe your determination is. Anyway, that footage of M V Geordie shot from the sailboat is sweet. I love the way the bow cleanly slices the water and the solidity of the whole vessel confidently ploughing through looks so natural. Lloyd's boat is sweet but Geordie is a prince. All the best and thanks for the content. Drew, from McKenzie & Quadra.

@grendel1960a3 жыл бұрын
LOL what you call a tight fit is a normal stern mooring on the Norfolk Broads, except you are squeezing between 2 other boats, so have to watch both sides, cruising solo this isnt always so easy, so I get the stern into the gap and walk the boat the rest of the way in on the ropes from one of the boats already moored.
